Having a busy home life with a significant other, kids, pets, activities, makes it easy for any house to get messy really quick. One of the things my family does to try and keep it organized is having a couple of key places in the house that help keep things tidy. Like the hooks at the front and back doors so you can fling your coat on a hook as soon as you come in the door. Good for kids cause you know what they’re like LOL having the same place for boots, shoes, backp...acks and coats is essential for getting out the door on time. Even if you don’t have kids the back and front door should have a proper place to hang your coat, pet leash, a place for keys etc. That way things always go back to the same place and makes it easy to find. Papers coming into the house can be a pain and can quickly pile up. One thing we do as mail comes in is sort right away so non essential papers and items can be thrown into the recycling bins as soon as they come in the house, that way they don’t pile up. One last trick is to have baskets for each member of the family that they can go throughout the house and collect their items that have been lying around the house and put them back to where they belong in their rooms. Makes for an easy way to ‘clean and tidy up’.
