When hip flexors are tight your low back pays the price. Show your lower back some TLC. Try the death stretch on a bench. Hold each side for 30-60 seconds Culprit #2: Tight Hamstrings Solution #2: Hamstring stretch against the wall (video #2) If you’re lifting lots, running, cycling or just living life, chances are your hamstrings or calves are tight and are pulling on your low back. Give this stretch a try! Hold for 30-60 seconds. Culprit #3: Weak Spine or Lack of Mobility Solution #3: Jefferson Curl Movement is one of the best drug-free ways to alleviate pain. The more you move your spine the more mobility it will have and the less chance of injury and/or stiffness. Give this stretch/mobility drill a try!
