Does this seem hard to do? Actually it's impossible. But as God changes your heart, it becomes a reality! So let's let Him work that change in us today!

If you’re wondering what our take is on the situation in the USA, this is an excellent summary from one of our church founders. From a Canadian perspective we would include condemnation of mistreatment of our indigenous peoples.

Please join us for sabbath lesson and worship, tomorrow starting at 10am. Please share this with who ever you want to invite. Lesson is at 10am followed by a short worship. Note you will need a microphone and/or video camera on your device.... To join in, please use the following link: https://teams.microsoft.com//19%3ac53d90ffb/1584640435679 Computer Click the above link tomorrow at 10am. If asked, Join as Guest. Seems like Google Chrome works. You might find the Microsoft Teams app gives you a better experience: On Apple computers, go to the App Store, search for Microsoft Teams. Install it. On a Windows PC, go to the microsoft.com website and search for Microsoft Teams. Install it. How you try it, tomorrow at 10am, click the above link and, if asked, "Join as Guest." Phone or Tablet Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, search for Microsoft Teams. It's free. Install the App. After it's installed, close it. Then click the above link. Hopefully the app loads and you can Join as Guest. (I noticed on iPhones it may go the Safari first, complain, and say use the app. Say OK and it will start the app.) The call in by phone option is not yet confirmed. I'm working on it. Good Meeting Etiquette You can join the meeting with audio alone or audio and video. If you're not talking, mute your audio. If you start with video and then you have to move around, mute your video until you're settled. Video is usually chest up but you should still wear pants in case you forget and stand up. Use general socialization skills such as respect, active listening, and taking turns. Online Giving The following are tutorial videos for Adventist Giving: https://vimeo.com/336195806 https://vimeo.com/352479610 For tomorrow, if you want to give, use the app or go to www.vegrevilleadventist.ca and click on Online Giving - choose Vegreville Church. Follow the prompts for giving. I look forward to seeing you in worship. All the best, Pastor Brad

In response to the developing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic situation and in light of recent recommendations from Alberta Health Services, we have decided to adopt the following protocols: We will be eliminating potluck lunches and sunshine band events through the end of the month. We will have our regular Saturday morning services. There will not be lunches and there are no afternoon programs. ... Church members, guests, and their children should use greetings such as the elbow-bump/foot-tap and are to avoid hugging, shaking hands, or touching each other with their hands in any way. Church members, guests, and their children should wash/sanitize their hands upon arrival at church, and do so regularly thereafter, especially after touching their faces. Please plan for the extra time that this will take. Those who either (1) display symptoms of contagious illness or (2) have traveled internationally during the previous fourteen (14) days should follow provincial recommendations to self-isolate at home. They may be asked to leave church property and to not participate in home visitation, hospital, or care home ministry. Critical infrastructure staff and those who are in high-risk populations are encouraged not to attend Sabbath services. High-risk populations include seniors, the immunocompromised, and those with respiratory conditions.
