27-09-2020 This morning's Sunflowers.. The very last of the Late Bloomers.

Today's field.. 25-09-2020 A few Reds here and there.. Our field is mostly seeds with a few flowers peeking out here and there.

24-09-2020 After the storm... How did the field make out? ... Everyone seems to be leaning.. one way or another... their petals lost to the wind... with only a few late bloomers managing to hold on to what petals they could. We will be closed today.. to clear paths, and pound fence posts back in.. (and to let the ground really soak in all that much-needed water, so that the grass in our parking lot will grow again.) But if you would still like to visit this weekend for the very last of the late bloomers.. Email [email protected] It's always a beautiful spot for a picnic... with the fall colours beginning to show... and the Kites are still fun to fly.

This planet... that needs so much love... and kindness.. from us.... the Humans. It is just one planet we all live on.. so when you step on a flower for just a photo .. or in this case.. pick one, selfishly for yourself.. (even after we asked you so nicely not too.. Maze Rule #1)... It is a bee that suffers for it.. and then the birds who feed off the seeds.. the crickets munch on the petals.. and all those creatures working hard to keep our air breathable.. on this planet ...we all share. So while it may seem like such a small thing... to pick a flower... for your own pleasure... it still takes from the bigger picture... literally and metaphorically... If you love a flower, don’t pick it up. Because if you pick it up it dies and it ceases to be what you love. So if you love a flower, let it be. Love is not about possession. Love is about appreciation. Osho

This morning's field... Our Red Sunflower Heart around the field is starting to bloom.. and we had a visit from our friend the Red-Tailed Hawk.
