We are decorating and celebrating the Christmas season here at Aggregate in lots of small ways: Our Holiday Closure begins today, Dec 18, at 5:00pm, and we will re-open on January 4th at 8:00am. Our 24hr line will be always available by calling 902-896-6000. Last week we held an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest. The grand prize was taken home by Crystal Lattie - her Christmas Tree sweater actually lit up!... Our staff came together to donate $850.00 to our local Food Bank for their annual December drive, and we shopped for and delivered groceries and gifts to three families through the Christmas Index program. Merry Christmas from all our Staff to you!

Each year we present the "Friends of Aggregate Equipment Memorial Scholarship" to a family member of one of our staff who is enrolled in post-secondary education. This scholarship is in memory of the people who contributed greatly to the growth and community of Aggregate Equipment. One of those people was Greg McCarron. He was the first to help us get on our feet. He owned G&G trucking and moved equipment for us when we had no money. This is his 1988 shunt truck in our yard this morning- we keep it running and use it to remind us of him.
