Out of sight doesn't mean out of mind. AKA working in partnership with DCI Development Companions International deliver masks to adult learners in Luga village to encourage and give them hope. The learners are hopeful to return to class after the lock down to complete their studies. Many say that the current situation of Covid 19 has taught them to always save for the future. They hope to use the skills they will acquire in Adult literacy classes to be better prepared for the future. Thank you DCI for the mask donation. The learners appreciated the kind gesture. #TogetherWeCanDoGreatThings

A 74 year old Gasole Sarafina never got a chance to go to school because there were no schools in the rural community of Luga. All her life she was living in the nightmare of illiteracy. But through the intervention of Access Knowledge Africa Adult literacy Program, she was able to learn how to write and read Luganda stories. Now, this lady is dreaming big to learn English when classes resume.... Thank you for giving people like Sarafina the gift of literacy. Because of your love and care, we can tell incredible stories like this one.
