#TipTuesday Ticks are out and about this summer. Protect yourself by wearing long pants and shirts if going into grassy areas. If you have been out in grassy areas with shorts on, check your legs and any other exposed parts to see if anything is attached. If you do find a tick on you, remove it with tweezers and bring it to an Alberta Health center to get it inspected for Lymes disease.

#TipTuesday Everybody coughs or sneezes. The best way to cover a cough or a sneeze is to do it into a tissue. If there isnt a tissue around, cough or sneeze into your elbow. Coughing/sneezing into your hands doesnt help if you are touching things afterwards and dont wash your hands. Cough/sneeze into your elbow to prevent germs from being spread.
#TipTuesday Its mosquito season. Protect your kids with bug repellant that is safe and durable for all activities. If bitten, do not scratch or it could become infected. Keep the area cool with ice to lower swelling.
