CKDU 88.1FM, Halifax’s ONLY FM campus-community radio station, celebrates 24 hours a day volunteer-run broadcasting since 1985 with; A RETRO DANCE PARTY February 28th, 2020 from 10PM-2AM At Art Bar & Projects (NSCAD Bar)... Come out in 80s-appropriate attire and party like it’s 1985. Featuring gnarly 80s tunes from special guests Dj IV AND R$ $mooth / RS Smooth, refreshments, a selfie booth and swag for purchase. We would like to invite all of our community partners, supporters, sustainers and volunteers that help us create magic on the FM airways 365 days a year.

A celebration of Life for Dr. Sandra Afoldy Monday, February 24 at 6-8pm Please join us in a celebration of life for Dr. Sandra Alfoldy, our friend and colleague, on the one-year anniversary of her passing. We are dedicating the ‘After Anna’ at the Art Bar +Projects from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 24to commemorating Sandra’s memory. So many of us at NSCAD have happy memories of time spent with Sandra, so bring a craft project in progress, or create a new one with a Bedazzler, and enjoy Sandra’s favourite treats as we gather to remember her remarkable life.
