There is a new directive set out by the Ministry... "The Home must be informed of and approve or deny all resident requests for short stay and temporary absence." What this means is prior to taking your loved on out of the home, you will be required to give a description of your planned outing. The Home can then approve or deny the absence based on current guidelines on an individual bases.
