When we do so much heavy lifting sometimes we forget how heavy it actually is.

I made it! First of five lakes down on this Great Lakes challenge! 494km around Lake Michigan. After being off exercise for a while I needed a challenge. Yes, I could have done a 5 or 10km race or set some other goal but I really knew that I needed something that would take me long enough to get back into the workout habit and that was meaningful to me. I grew up on the Great Lakes, I live and vacation on the lakes... the perfect challenge to remember who I am. ...
