STORE UPDATE: By Dec 23rd we expect to be fully booked for the week, and we will not be able to take any more orders, even tiny ones. Our phone lines usually get overwhelmed on Dec 24. So it is likely that if you try to call, you might not get through. We apologize for this, but it is beyond our control.

Dear Customers, Please avoid the anticipated long line-ups at Alima's this Saturday (14th Nov) because of Diwali. You can do this by ordering and picking up in advance (today Thursday or tomorrow Friday) or by using our Curbside Pickup Service.... For curbside pickup, you must order online at www.PickupAlimas.ca If you are unable to order and pickup today Thursday, or tomorrow Friday, please help us to reduce the wait time on Saturday, and also maintain a safe environment: 1. If possible, please decide what you want to order before getting to the counter. 2. If you are picking up, the staff will ask for a name and telephone number. Please use the same name and number that was used when the order was placed. Very often the line is delayed by customers who have the name or telephone number wrong. 3. We kindly request that only one person from the family come into the store and others remain in the vehicle. 4. Please remember that almost all persons in line have already ordered, so we cannot offer expedited service to persons who have ordered in advance. 5. Please park in the designated parking area and not alongside the store. 6. We would have pre-packed some of our Parathas and Dhalpuris in plastic, to offer to those who did not order in advance. Please know that these are cooked on the same day. We use food-grade plastic. The items remain fresher and it is also safer. We thank you again for being great customers of Alima's, and we kindly request your cooperation. We again urge you to order and pick up on Thursday or Friday or use the Curbside Pickup Service.
