Good morning! In October we celebrate Massage therapy awareness week, and our association is asking if any patients want to share their story of how massage therapy has benefited them in any way, to contact them ( I can help direct you), and your story will be featured!

*super tough decision * At this time, I am not returning to practice until our daycare opens, which then hopefully we will still be in the clear like the last 2 weeks! way to go Sudbury for doing your part ... 2 weeks and a clear bill so far!! These uncertain times over the last few months have been a little overwhelming. And I hope you all are well! I am very much looking forward to returning, to a possible new normal in the near future, I miss my work family and environment, and of course doing what I love to do. In the meantime, I have been head deep into all the new protocols, hours of reading , helping our team get the ball rolling, and making sure everyone is safe! The link below is what to expect at your next appointment for massage. These are our new standards. It will be a big adjustment for everyone, so continue to be kind as we work everything out. Ask questions if you have any! We are all here to help. The massage therapy community is amazing, we have a great team. I will be continually be updating as new information becomes available. A little personal note- we have made some additions to the farm. Its full time work, especially with a very busy almost 3 year old who LOVES tractors, and his dirtbike. Can't wait to catch up one on one!! Stay safe, stay strong! We got this!!

Wow. I can not believe how many clients have reached out since the announcement. I am sooo happy to hear from everyone, and reply to all your emails, and messages. You all remind me during these hardships of how much I truly love what I do. My career has Never been work. It has always been my balance in life.... I love being able to provide a service that gives soo many rewards more than words can Express! With that being said, my date of return has not been officially confirmed, although I am working extremely hard to get our "new normal" in progress, weigh out risks/benefits, and have every detail sorted out for a safe and healthy return. having a full time work load at home, I hope to have a better answer in the next week. In the meantime, please any questions or if you need additional advice, keep messaging me and I will do my best to help in any way I possibly can!!! Stay safe, stay well. At this time some of you may have already been made aware of the Minister of Health stating that Health Care Professionals are allowed to open up business again. This is exciting news, but it was also misrepresented poorly by the media outlets. Massage Therapy is Governed by the CMTO, and as such they have released their updated mandate for our therapists to follow. It that states; Massage Therapists can gradually restart practice, prioritizing essential car needs, at this t...ime. There is guidance to what this means which we must follow to ensure the safety of our Clinicians, staff, visitors, and all patients, during this time. With that; we have some changes that will be coming into effect over the next while, to which we will update you with when we can. Some items will be: -Your therapist will be required to wear a surgical mask during all treatments and interactions with you. It is also highly recommended and may be mandatory that all clients bring, and wear, a mask in the clinic as well (can be cloth or surgical, as long as it fully covers the mouth and nose). -Patients will be asked to wait in their car for their confirmed appointment. They will be directed in when the therapist is ready. They will be ushered directly into their treatment space. -There will be additional screening necessary for each appointment to ensure the safety of anyone that enters the clinic space. We have to consider protecting the most at-risk individuals who entrust us with their care As of today, we do not have a finalized opening date, but will inform you when there is one. We are aware some places are taking patients starting as early as Monday. To us, we cannot, in good consciousness confirm an opening date on such late notice by the CMTO. It is our number one priority to safe-guard our patients with the highest of care. We will not settle for less than being at our best, and have everything required in place. we owe that to you above everything else. Please stay tuned and I'll do my best to keep you informed as more information is released! Plus I need a little time to soften up these super callused hands ;) Hard work on the farm since day one of closure at work! Lol Looking forward when I can see everyone again !!

***IMPORTANT *** Good afternoon everyone! Hope everyone is staying healthy and proactive! Our college has suggested we suspend practices. Therefore, we are closed until April 1st, but please keep in mind this can change. I will keep everyone informed as we know. ... In the meantime, please let's do our part to stay healthy and avoid the possibility of infecting the people must vulnerable, including all loved ones. In the meantime, please remember to care for yourself, these are hard times with a lot of stress mentally, physically, and emotionally. *get a good night sleep *drink a lot of water *keep healthy eating habits *stretch/yoga .. even 10 min a day ! *STAY POSITIVE!!! This is not massage related, more of a personal note. My best friend is currently fighting hard. She has CF, successfully had a double lung transplant this March...however she developed pneumonia, and has been in ICU on life support, battling many complications including blood clot in her lung, and kidney failure. She is honestly the strongest, and most delightful soul you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. Just so happy and grateful for everything. While she is st...ruggling this hardship I beg everyone I know to please, PLEASE keep her in your positive thoughts and/or prayers, especially her family.
