Animal Health Centre is currently seeking a full time kennel attendant to join our team. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, excellent organizational skills and be able to assist with animal handling and restraint. The applicant must love cleaning, be personable, reliable and punctual. A kennel attendant plays a vital role in our practice is responsible for maintaining the clinic’s cleanliness, cleaning of surgery suite, sterilizing ...instrument packs, animal care, recovering patients post anesthetic and much more. We would like to thank this handsome boy for donating his blood to another dog in need Luckily, we do not need to perform blood transfusions often; however, when we do we need a blood donor very quickly! Would you like to be part of saving another dog’s life ?! ... To be a blood donor, your dog must be a healthy adult and weigh over 66 pounds. They can not have had a litter of puppies in the past, be currently pregnant, and have no current medical issues. Screening blood work will be performed at no cost to you, to ensure it is safe to donate! If you would like to be placed on our blood donor list, please let us know!!

Our clinic is a growing companion animal practice with a focus on preventative medicine and advanced diagnostics. The Animal Health Centre is located in the heart of Corner Brook’s downtown area. If you like the outdoors, you are in luck! A short scenic drive will take you to Gros Morne National Park, Blomidon Provincial Park which holds the beautiful Bottle Cove Beach and multiple h...iking trails! The Humber Valley is also home to Marble Mountain Ski Resort, Humber Valley River rafting, Marble Mountain zipline tours and much much more! Come see what the west coast of Newfoundland has to offer! We are located in the heart of Corner Brook’s downtown area. Our clinic is fully computerized and offers a full in-house laboratory, digital radiology, fully equipped dental suite, digital dental radiology, ultrasonography, general surgery, endoscopy, laser therapy and much more. We are currently a 2 doctor hospital, with 9 full time support staff. Applicants must demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, animal handling and restraint, anesthetic induction and maintenance, telecommunications, scheduling, assisting veterinarians and other co-workers, processing lab samples and taking radiographs. The applicant should be confident and must be accountable for their actions. The Animal Health Centre offers medical and dental benefits as well as employee discounts on products and services.
