All of our tours take us along the sheltered side of these rugged islands that lie just beyond the entrance to Ucluelet Inlet. Join us for a tour in 2021 to see this beautiful West Coast scenery in person!
We are currently still closed due to COVID-19. At this point we are unable to confirm when we will reopen but encourage you to email us (at [email protected]) or check our website (https://www.archipelagocruises.com/news/) for further updates. We look forward to welcoming you aboard our boat again as soon as we can.
We have missed cruising this season but look forward to seeing our furry friends again in 2021.
We're looking forward .... to cruising again, hopefully starting in May 2021
Wondering where we are? Sadly, we have had to make the difficult decision to remain closed for the 2020 season. After taking everything into careful consideration, we feel this to be the only feasible option and best for everyone. We are off course disappointed but do look forward to operating again in 2021, well rested and with renewed enthusiasm! We sincerely hope that you will consider taking a tour with us in 2021.... Please check our website for further updates: https://www.archipelagocruises.com/news/

The lunch alone is worth taking our trip for! The food is delicious (prepared by Heartwood Kitchen restaurant in Ucluelet), delivered to you in a wicker basket on a luxury yacht while anchored amidst the gorgeous scenery of the Broken Group Islands - for most of our guests this is a unique experience. The Cobb salad is shown here - other choices are salmon or chicken and all of the menu options are finger licking good!
We miss being out on the water every day but look forward to taking you out on a cruise once it is safe to do so! Hopefully we will be able to welcome you soon. In meantime, please check Tourism Ucluelet's website for travel updates: https://www.discoverucluelet.com/covid-19
It is always a pleasure to see sea otters! This season we have been lucky enough to see them almost daily.
Over the past weeks we have worked hard to get ready for the upcoming season. Our season usually starts on May 1st, however this year, due to Covid-19, we will remain closed until further notice. We look forward showing you the incredible wildlife and scenery of our beautiful area as soon as it if safe to do so. Until then, please stay home and stay safe!... For more information, or to enquire about tours on any future dates, please contact us at [email protected]
There are still lots of nice days left for cruisin'. Today was a beauty!
We are now closed for the season but we already look forward to another year of adventures starting in May 2020!
It is not too late yet to come out with us before we close for the season - we'd love to see you aboard!
We are still open and running our Broken Group Islands Wildlife Cruise. Recent trips have been great as there is still lots of wildlife (& islands!!) around. October 15th will be their last day of the season.

A humpback whale can be identified by the unique black and white pattern on the underside of the flukes. This individual is one you would not easily forget.

It is not hard to guess how the fried egg jelly fish got its name!
Seeing sea otters in the wild is always a delight! Some sea otters are quite shy but this particular group doesn't seem to mind us coming over for a visit.
Luckily this sow and her triplets like Ucluelet as much as we do. Recently we have seen her almost daily.
Beautiful image of a Bald Eagle pair, taken in the last few minutes of our tour on Aug. 28th by David McEwan.
A few great images taken on yesterday's cruise by one of our guests, Henry Keepin.
Couldn't resist sharing another of Danny McCreadie's fantastic eagle images
