Anyone looking for some super awesome grain fed beef!! Waylon’s looking for a buyer for his 4-H Steer, Ace. Sale is next Monday Sept 28th in Kamloops at The Pro...vincial Winter Fair! You can bid online, or we can do it on your behalf. There are so many amazing people out there that support 4-H and Farm kids. Support from local Businesses and Communities is so important so that they can get a good price for their animals to help purchase their next year’s project, pay their feed bills and buy new product for shows! Let us know if you’re interested. Thank you! Jack Hoggard See more

A Big thank you to all of Waylon and his animal's supporters!! He was pretty happy to learn that both his Steer and Heifer won Champion People's Choice!! Thank ...you so much to the organisers Jodi Kondrat-Thompson, Paige & Jaymie), sponsors and Judges of the West Coast Virtual 4-H Beef Show Waylon really wanted to thank everyone, so he made a short video to share on FB. He would rather have stuck a needle in his eye than do this a couple years ago LOL. Just another testament to how good 4-H is for kids!! See more

Wow ! What a weekend, and an awesome 81st pwf! Ashcroft you would sure be proud of these kids! Showmanship day: Most of the club participated in showmanship this year and we couldn't be more proud! In the open youth classes (ages 4-8) we had Presli placing second, Carli placing 3rd, Kalin placing 1st, Fallon placing second, Layne placing first, Jacob placing second, Bailey placing Fourth, and Paxton placing second! So in the open youth championship round Ashcroft had 5/8 In... the ring and Kalin coming out with Reserve Champion!! In the intermediate beef we had Waylon taking Third! Waylon also won the Trevor Frolek Citizen Memorial award for being so amazing to the rest of the club and kids younger then him :) In the senior lamb class Ali Spooner took 4th in her showmanship class and also won 3rd with her Ed display.

If you're looking for some grain fed, delicious Angus Beef, Waylon will be selling his steer at this year's PWF. Sale Day September 30th in Kamloops. Details be...low ... Dear Potential Buyer Hello, my name is Waylon Hoggard and I am 13 years old and in my 2nd year of 4-H in Ashcroft. I bought my Steer Moochacho in October of 2018 and started working with him right away getting him ready to show at the fairs this year. He is a purebred Black Angus weighing in at 1,350 Lbs as of July 28, 2018. We expect him to be approximately 1,500 lbs at the sale. That is an approximate hanging weight of 900 Lbs I am looking for a buyer for him at the 2019 PWF (Provincial Winter Fair) in Kamloops, September 26th 29th. I really like 4-H and hope to be part of the club for a long time. I like taking care of my animal and making new friends. I also like helping the younger kids in our club. The money earned from the sale of my steer will go towards next year’s project. I chose a Black Angus again this year because of the natural fine marbling that is present in the meat. This contributes to juicy, tender and exceptionally flavourful meat and is featured in many top end steak house restaurants. I hope I can count on your support this year. Please let me know if you are interested in bidding on my steer during the sale. If you can’t make it to the sale I can have someone bid for you, just let me know what you’re willing to pay. Not only will you have a freezer full of delicious beef and receive a tax write off, this will be a great advertising opportunity for your business as we will be advertising our buyer in our local paper after the sale. I appreciate your consideration. Thank you, Waylon Hoggard Ashcroft 4-H Beef Club 250-457-0611
