MASSAGE THERAPY INSTRUCTOR JOB OPPORTUNITY Eastern College Inc. is actively seeking an experienced Registered Massage Therapist, interested in joining the Moncton campus team to teach within our Massage Therapy program. Primary Responsibilities:... The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality delivery of assigned Massage Therapy courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and grading class tests, assignments, and exams. In addition to in-class teaching opportunities, there are also opportunities available to work with the college as a massage therapy clinic supervisor. As clinic supervisor this position would be responsible for providing coaching, mentoring and hands-on leadership to our massage therapy students completing their practical hands-on learning hours in clinic. If also interested in the clinic supervisor opportunity, the hours would be 12:30pm-5:30pm and would be scheduled 1-3 days per week. Days available will be discussed during the interview process. The Massage Therapy Instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of Eastern College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness; embracing diversity and fostering inclusion Qualifications: Registered Massage Therapist in the province of New Brunswick. Minimum of 2-years practical experience. Intermediate MS Office skills. Previous teaching experience would be considered an asset. Excellent English communication skills, organizational skills, and a professional attitude are required. Hours of Work: This is a part-time position. Hours of work will be 8am 12pm, Monday to Friday.
