SERVICE CANADA CENTERS CLOSURE On March 27th, 2020, the federal government announced that all 317 Service Canada Centers will be closed to limit the Spread of COVID-19. So far, more than a million Canadians have filed for Unemployment during this past week. Employees need to be protected from the daily influx of people visiting the centers. ... The government has promised that the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) will not be impacted and applications for both EI and CERB will be processed.
