Boya Lake is known for its clarity and colour and it is one of the few lakes this far north that warms up enough for swimming. Fishing, paddling, boating and other water activities are by far the most popular, but there are a couple of easy, 1.5 km interpretive hiking trails and even a mountain bike trail. There are 44 non-reservable, rustic campsites, open May thru September, with pit toilets and a boat launch in this 4,597 hectare (11,360 ac) park.
