bayanskitchen MUSCLE INSIDER Best Protein Chef Recipe 2 of 5! Sooo the plan was to make a salad, which usually follows up with soup. Butttt as I was making my dressing I started dipping my veggies in it to taste test..Then I realized, I have to make a Veggie dip instead Creamy Dill Dip with Fresh Veggies Ingredients: 500g ( 2 1/2 cups ) Plain Greek Yogurt... 1/2 scoop #muscleinsider @optimumnutrition Vanilla Casein Powder 1 tbsp Onion Powder 1 tbsp Dry onion flakes 2 1/2 tbsp Dill Weed( use fresh if possible) 2 tbsp Parsley( use fresh if possible) 1 tbsp Garlic, puree or paste 2 tsp Red pepper Splash lime juice Salt and pepper to taste Directions: 1. Mix all together in blender or food processor. 2. Mix until smooth and creamy. 3. Add salt and pepper until desired flavour balance. 4. Strawberry Fruit Loop Protein Cup stuffed with Chocolate Peanut Butter I made these for my band mates as a pre jam treat!! @heyokasmirror Indulge in magically delicious protein treats before the making of sweet prog metal ... Strawberry Cup: 3-4 servings 2 tbsp Coconut Oil 1 scoop #muscleinsider @optimumnutrition Strawberry Protein Powder 4 tbsp White Chocolate 3 tbsp Crushed Fruit Loops Chocolate PB filling: 1/2 scoop #muscleinsider @optimumnutrition Chocolate Casein Protein 1 1/2 tbsp Peanut butter 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract Directions: 1. In a pot over steaming water, melt coconut oil and white chocolate. Once melted slowly stir in protein poeder until fully mixed. 2. Portion a tsp of strawberry goodness into each cupcake cup and refrigerate until firm. 3. In a bowl mix chocolate, PB and vanilla. Stir until fully combined. 4. Portion into balls and flatten to place inside strawberry cups. 5. Add remaining stawberry goodness to each cup, fully coating filling. 6. Add crushed Fruit loops, refrigerate until firm and enjoy! Strawberry Banana Protein Pie Crust Cookies I was making a pie then I thought, what happens if there was a cookie with a pie crust texture..so I had to make it! They turned out so good that I ate my whole batch Also #happynationaldogday! I wish I had a dog, but all I have right now is Virgil, my stuffed pet Kangaroo ... Ingredients: 7 portions 3/4 cup Gluten Free Flour 1 scoop #muscleinsider @optimumnutrition Vanilla Casein Protein 1/2 tsp Baking powder 1 tbsp Truvia Brown Sugar 1/4 tsp Salt 1/4 cup + 1 tsp Coconut oil/Butter 1 egg 1/2 cup Cold water Toppings: 6 tsp Strawberry Jam 1/2 banana Protein Chocolate: 1/4 cup Dark Chocolate 1 tsp coconut oil 1/2 scoop #muscleinsider @optimumnutrition Chocolate Whey Protein Directions: 1. In a bowl mix all dry ingredients. Add in butter and mix until flaky texture. Then add egg. Mix well. 2. Slowly add cold water until texture reaches a firm, moldable texture. 3. Portion into 6-8 balls and shape into cookies. Place on parchment paper or a greased pan. Top with 1 tsp strawberry jam and bake at 350F for 21-24 minutes. Until golden brown. 4. Slice banana into thin slices, circle around jam. 5. Melt chocolate and coconut oil, mix then add protein powder. Drizzle over top cookies and refrigerate until firm. 6. Eat all of them. bayanskitchen MUSCLE INSIDER Best Protein Chef Recipe 1 of 5! This week you'll be getting a 5 course meal! All including @optimumnutrition Vanilla Protein Powder Today we're starting with soup! So I made: Cream of Mushroom, Bacon and Jalapeno Soup ... I found that using a 3:1 pepper to salt ratio really balanced out the flavour! Ingredients: 2 servings 3 slices bacon 1/2 cup Mushroom,sliced 1 cup Onion, diced 2 cloves garlic 1 scoop #muscleinsider @optimumnutrition Vanilla Casein Protein 1/2 cup sliced mushroom 1 1/2 cup Chicken broth 1 cup Milk 1/8 cup Jalapeno, diced 1/4 cup butter Directions: 1. On medium heat, cook bacon slices. Once cooked to desire tenderness, remove bacon, dice and add back to pan with garlic, jalapeno, onions and mushrooms. Sautee until mushrooms and onions reach a golden brown and the auroma is melting your brain. Remove from heat and set aside. 2. Heat a pot to medium heat and add in butter snd protein powder, making a "roux". Cook for 1 minute. 3. Add in broth and milk. 4. Bring to a boil, stirring regularly. 5. Reduce heat to low, and cook for another 6-8 minutes, stirring regularly. 6. Add a pinch of salt and pepper at a time until desired flavour balance is reached :) Also add hot sauce if you want!
