This online course will help couples go from a relationship on AUTOPILOT to discovering & experiencing something FUN together, so that they can create more CONNECTION, COMMUNICATION & INTIMACY in their relationship. ... This course is perfect for you if you are: 1) looking for something fun and meaningful to do together 2) interested in learning to dance from scratch and want to learn concepts that will allow you to dance naturally and authentically together. 3) interested in recharging your relationship, reconnecting and rebuilding a sense of curiosity, discovery and intimacy between you. 4) wanting to learn something new, gain personal development, as well as improve your teamwork skills with your partner or spouse. ... To all our ballroom family, 2020 has been a very interesting year for us all. COVID-19 has affected all our lives in different and unexpected ways and has espe...cially affected the ballroom dance community. With current government restrictions, as well as many dance studios still closed or operating at a limited capacity, we have made the tough decision to cancel Vancouver Challenge Cup 2021 for both safety and financial reasons. This is a decision we wanted to put off for as long as possible but with the current state of the pandemic, we do not feel that we will be able to provide the community with an event we would be proud to call VCC. Please stay safe, stay active, and never stop dancing! Let's all continue to have fun and celebrate dance in our own way and we look forward to welcoming you all back in 2022!

Dancing is more fun when it's NATURAL and ORGANIC. Instead of thinking of it as something that needs to be PERFECTED, take the mindset of DISCOVERY and CURIO...SITY, just as you would in nature! ... For dancing to become NATURAL, you need to master these 3 basic principles: 1) be able to LAUGH at YOURSELF - nobody is perfect, and our imperfections are what makes us REAL 2) there is NO RIGHT or WRONG - don't feel pressured about being correct; instead, prioritize how you are connecting with your partner and enjoy the experience together 3) be PRESENT andin the moment - get rid of the mental checklist of steps that need to be done and go wherever the path leads you ...
