This means Barrie Scuba House can teach the full range of deep open-circuit Tec diving courses, including Tec Trimix 65 and Tec Trimix Diver in back mount or side mount configuration. Well, a new personal best by 9 feet! Reached a depth of 427 feet for a total run time of 2 hours. Saw a barracuda, 2 angel fish, lion fish and all kinds of other fish as we came up. Little busy to be hunting lion fish on this dive, just saying. See the pictures showing the different gas mixes I used. Thanks to Javier Salas - looking forward to tomorrow's even deeper adventure!

What an awesome few days of cenote diving with my buddy Javier Salas from XTC Dive Center while we waited out Hurricane Eta. Even dove El Pit! Back to Xcalak now to complete training of students for Tec 50 and then onto Tec 65 and 100. Going to be some great diving for next few weeks.

Invited back to XTC, a tech diver’s paradise, to lead a #PADI Trimix Instructor course for the next few weeks. After a long day of travel yesterday, I was excited to get out for a warm-up dive today with my sensei Javier Salas. Water temp was insane - over 80 degrees. 82 foot max dive for 65 mins. Great to be back!
