The historic Mill Lake trail has recently been restored by volunteers from the Harrop-Procter Community Co-operative (HPCC). Under the superb direction of Joern... Wingender, an impressive shelter was constructed at Mill Lake last weekend. Over 20 volunteers donated their time and energy during the three-day weekend. There were nine volunteers staying all three days. The core crew worked tirelessly each day cutting snags, trimming each one and moving them into place. In addition to the massive shelter, a picnic table was built, a firepit with seating, food cache and new tent pads were established. The weather was perfect until late Sunday when rain clouds moved in and the wind picked up. We decided it was not wise to continue with the installation of the metal roofing. We will return in the Spring to install the metal roofing. The building materials were generously donated by Home Hardware and Harrop-Procter Mill. See more
Congratulations ARM!!!!
