He received a three-year... health research grant that commenced in January 2020. Dr. Lan’s collaborative research project is a bench to bed research project that will include human critical trials! Dr. Lan discusses what a bench to bed concept is and how collaboration plays a role in this research project. Then meet Sid Adams, a kidney patient who was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease at the age of 30, and Karen Coons, Sid's family friend who became his living donor.
