Just a quick update: at this point in time I do not know if groomers will be allowed to remain open with extra safety measures during this upcoming lockdown. The list that came out today was not completely clear and is now different than the grey zone list which did have us listed as allowed to remain open. I've been told there will be an updated list soon, so hopefully before the new year we will know for sure. As soon as I know for sure I will message those who have appointments coming up soon. At this point in time I cannot add any new appointments in case things need to be moved back at all. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holidays. Stay safe!! Good news everyone!!! Ford has announced pet services can open next week! Yay. Please be patient as I get to all the rescheduling and the list of those who want to be scheduled. This is going to take me a few days! Please understand I have to go in order to stay fair, and there is a long list. Some had appointments booked 7/8 weeks ago and have waited that long already. I know that's not what everyone wants to hear, but I have to be fair and of course schedule a little extra time now between appointments for social distancing and disinfecting extra areas. I miss you all and working my butt off to get you all scheduled fairly and as soon as possible, but please be patient with me over the next few days, I'm a better groomer than I am scheduler lol. Great advice. Especially if your dog may have to go to the vet, or when us groomers are allowed to open, I'm sure we'll all be wearing masks too. This can definitely freak some dogs out, so great idea to get them used to it at home first.

Covid 19 closure update Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well. There has been a lot of talk on the news lately about the country and province opening up, so I am hopeful this won't be too much longer. I just want to clarify although a lot of talk of plans is happening, as of yet a date and list of businesses allowed to reopen at that date has not yet been given for Ontario. Please know I am checking daily with the Ontario government's updates,and will still let everyon...e know when I am legally able to reopen. I expect even once a date is given some types of business may have to get special permission, or show how they can keep everyone safe before being given permission. I will be taking all measures possible to do so, but it could potentially take time once that all starts happening. There are also a lot of appointments that have had to be canceled over the last month, and dogs waiting for appointments, so please be patient once those dates have been published, it will take a few days to get ahold of everyone and start scheduling everything once permission to open has been given, and I do not have an estimated date on when that will be. Anyone who has either missed an appointment or asked to be put on a contact list will be contacted as soon as possible once the green light has been given. In conclusion, I am very hopeful this won't be too much longer, but at this point there has just not been any specific information given as far as opening dates, qualifications as to who can open, or what the exact plan is, hopefully we will know more about that soon. This has been a really hard decision, as I love seeing all your dogs and helping to take care of them, but due to the current pandemic I will be closed until further notice. I will be contacting anyone with existing appointments over the next few days, and will reschedule everything as fairly as possible once it is safe to be up and running again. Give all your dogs a hug for me! See you all soon. I will be trying to post a few videos with tips on bathing, and brushing your dogs for you in the meantime as I find useful ones, to try to help you maintain them if needed.
