Urgent! Audition!! 'The Play That Goes Wrong' By Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer & Henry Shields Directed by Jenn Townsend Due to the status of COVID-19 in Alberta ...the original run of this production was postponed, causing two members of the cast to be unable to fulfill the commitment to their roles. Ruminarilive Arts is looking for two new actors to join our cast of characters for the production, rescheduled for March 18th - 20th and 25th-27th pending AHS protocols. Synopsis: The Cornley Drama Society are putting on a 1920s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong... does. The accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! Cast of Characters: Characters are 20-30 years old. Though the roles are clearly defined as male & female, the director will cast who they see fit regardless of gender expression or identity. People of any and all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. - Robert/Thomas Colleymore - wants and believes himself to be a great actor, but is truly unaware of others around him. He never learns from his mistakes and doesn't care when things go wrong. He would love to be the president of the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society. - Sandra/Florence Colleymore - a vain woman with a huge ego. This play is a stepping stone for her to fulfil her dreams of getting to Hollywood. Notes: - Rehearsals will be held virtually until such a time when in person rehearsals can resume. Rehearsals will begin on February 5th, occurring 2-3 times per week (evenings & weekends). - Performances will take place Thursdays through Saturdays, March 18th - 27th. The production is a dinner theatre performance. Call times are approx. 6PM - 11PM. - In accordance with current AHS Guidelines, all performers will be masked throughout the rehearsal process & performances, and will undergo temperature checks to ensure the safety of all involved. - Audience capacity will be limited to accommodate physical distancing, and audience members will undergo COVID screening before entering the venue. For more information or to sign up for a virtual audition, please email Jenn at [email protected]. #localbusiness #performance #theatre #afterschool #community #beaumontab #leduc #yegevents #art #drama #crafts #openinbeaumont #localbusiness #supportlocal #yegkids #yeglocal #yegfamily #devon #exploreedmonton #edmontonlocal #leducfamily #instagood #actors #acting #audition #perform #yegtheatre
