Meet the owners! Jordan Schenn and Brad Huber started the company in 2005, originally using an abrasive waterjet machine to cut steel and other materials for machine shops and manufacturers. They soon realized their machine could cut granite and quartz slabs and they began manufacturing countertops. Within a few years they transitioned entirely to countertops and have been doing it full time ever since! ... Brad and Jordan are still involved in every step of the process. Jordan is our main fabricator, and Brad is our templator. We believe in what we sell, fabricate and install. Let’s talk about sealing natural stone countertops. . Most natural stone countertops require sealing to keep them protected and looking as good as new, How do you know when your countertops need sealing? It’s generally a good idea to seal every 6-12 months or when your countertops start to absorb water. . What happens if you don’t seal? When natural stone is left unsealed, it can absorb liquids and lead to staining. ... . The good news is that sealing is very easy! First give your countertops a very good cleaning. Second apply the sealant in small sections and rub until absorbed. After a few minutes buff off the excess and that’s it! .
