Merry Christmas from the Beaverlodge Fire Department. We hope you have a safe and joyful time with friends, family and loved ones. We would like to send an extra special thank you to our mutual aid partners, AHS EMS, the RCMP, and Dispatch for all their support throughout 2019.

The Beaverlodge Fire Department extends our sincere condolences to our brothers and sisters within the Sexsmith Fire Department, and Alberta Health Services.

Today we remember those firefighters who paid the ultimate price. Rest easy brothers and sisters. We’ll take it from here.

The Beaverlodge Fire Department was very pleased to receive a $500.00 donation towards a new Fire Station this evening, from Beaverlodge Funeral Services. This weekend, firefighters from Hythe Fire Department, Wembley Fire Department, and the County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service, came to Beaverlodge to c...omplete their NFPA 1051 Wildland Firefighting certification. Here they can be seen evaluating the hazards in the Wildland Urban Interface, and developing an Incident Action Plan. See more

The Fire Department will be conducting training operations this weekend along 7th Ave, between 10th St. and 11th St. You may see some smoke, and flashing lights. Please don’t be concerned, we are just working hard to keep our skills current.

Due to the continued heavy snowfall, and worsening road conditions, the Beaverlodge Fire Department is advising motorists to stay off of area roads. All non-ess...ential travel should be rescheduled until snow clearing crews are able to safely clear roadways. This would be a great night to make some popcorn and binge watch that show on Netflix.
