We don’t mind being alone for a while as long as you know we’ll be here when the time is right. Betty Lou’s staff and management have decided that it’s best we close immediately to help flatten the curve. We wish you all a safe holiday season and look forward to a 2021 where we can raise a glass together in confidence and camaraderie.

They say patience is a virtue. In an effort to protect our frontline workers and help flatten the curve, the staff & management of Betty Lou's Library have decided to further restrict our hours of operation beyond the mandated AHS guidance. Effective immediately we will only be open on Fridays and Saturdays, between 5 pm and 10 pm for the next two weeks and there will be no live performances. Our sincere apologies to those guests who have made reservations during this closure.... The holidays are an important time of year for and we look forward to celebrating with you when it is safer to do so. Whether it's the sound of his trumpet, or his compositional style, it is immediately recognizable, and he enjoys a busy career as a freelance musician, and is quickly making a name for himself as one of the top jazz trumpet players in Calgary and Alberta. He is a composer/arranger, and educator performing regularly in local groups including the A...ndré Wickenheiser Sextet, Past Present Quintet, Lorna Maclachlan Quintet, Jon McCaslin Quartet etc. André is also on the music faculty as a trumpet instructor at Ambrose University and the Mount Royal Conservatory.
