It's funny the things we remember. This was the first sign I finished when I could finally stomach the thought of the shop after losing Fleur I love nursery pieces, but oh how I dreaded them for so many months. ... We are almost at $3000 for our donation to the IWK and I just need to keep saying THANK YOU. I think this is another superb opportunity to also remind people that it is NEVER okay to ask when or if they are going to have children, or have more children. It is not a "sin" to have no children or have only one child, as I hear so much around here. You knowing whether or not a family is going to have a child, or have more children, won't make or break you, I promise. But, asking that momma that has been trying for 6 years and 3 losses, or asking that momma who just got back from her D&E, it kills us. Maybe not right there in front of you, but many tears are shed alone over those questions. My perspective has and always will be - if you aren't there for the process of making it, you aren't to ask about it ;)

My tiny girl had a hard night of missing her Dada tonight so I'm an hour behind schedule, but that is absolutely the reality of this little business. But, my work night begins now! 1. Another evening of gluing. Only about 30 more signs until all orders are filled. 10 of which are sitting in front of me right now ready to be finished. Tomorrow I'm minus my mini so I'll be able to put in a solid 14 hour day! So soon guys, I promise.... Today's COVID update was everything we all didn't want to hear. With that being said, I will not be having in person shopping nights in my pretty little camper until everything settles. I will however, have online sales once all of my orders are filled. As soon as my tiny girl sleeps, I get to work. Usually a couple hours in the afternoon, and then again starting at 7:30pm. It definitely gets harder and more exhausting when my husband leaves the province for work. Everything then falls on me. Cook, clean, do all the fun things with Ivy, and then run this business. When do I sleep? No one knows ... But I must say, as tired as I may be right now, my heart is absolutely overflowing with gratitude that this is what I get to do everyday. I still pinch myself that this is my reality. Over two hundred signs were ordered from the little Christmas preorder collection. That is unreal you guys. And maybe another reminder that I shouldn't try and do it all myself anymore haha. I can hardly wait to get started with 2021 and all the signs I've been dreaming up. Here's to hoping Ivy finally gets into daycare in February Merry Christmas Everyone!
