You asked for it! You got it! PERCH GLUTEN FREE PIZZA SHELLS NOW ON SALE AT Far Out Coffee Post! (2173 Dundas) For those who don't know Far Out is a wicked new coffee shop at Dundas and Templeton, one block west of Nanaimo. They have excellent coffee, crazy loose leaf teas and various food stuffs for all dietary needs. (Breakfast Burrito...Yum)... 3/$10 Cooking Instructions: Allow to thaw completely. Preheat oven to 500F/260C. Slather with desired toppings starting with sauce and finishing with cheese or daiya. Place in preheated oven on a pizza stone or baking pan for 7-10 minutes or until crust is browned. Remove with a pizza pull or some fancy moves and a spatula. Cut & enjoy. Oven temperatures vary, adjust cooking time accordingly. For best results we recommend using a pizza stone that has been allowed to reach the temperature of the oven around it.

Many of you have questions about the closure of Perch. Since it would be overwhelming to answer each one individually here is a list of FAQs with the best answers I can give at the moment. Thanks for all the love, Lu Perch closure FAQ:... Q: Why? A: There is no more money left. I know it probably was slamming busy last time you came by but this is a rough industry and a full dining room does not always mean a healthy bottom line. Q: Will you be opening up somewhere else?/Will there be another Perch? A: No. We are getting out of the restaurant business. We had a good run, built something we (and hopefully you) love and now it is time for us to move on. Q: Is there anything we can do to stop this? A: No. But we'd love it if you dropped by for one last pizza, burger or pint. Q: What will you do next? A: Cry. Sleep for at least a week. Get a job, commence reintegration into society. Thanks again for all your support and kind words. They mean the world to me.
