Suddenly Disney is out of magic, Paris is no longer romantic, New York is no longer the city that never sleeps, the Chinese wall is no longer a fortress, and Mecca is drained. Hugs and kisses suddenly became weapons and not visiting parents and friends become an act of love. Suddenly you realized that power, beauty, money was worthless and couldn’t get you the oxygen you were fighting for. The world continues its life and it is beautiful; it only puts humans in cages. I think it’s sending us a message: You are not necessary. The air, earth, water and sky without you are fine. And even better. When you come back, remember that you are my guests not my masters. Dear Black Shallot supporters, These are difficult times; these are unprecedented times. As each of us continue to navigate the challenges we now face, we struggle to do what's right. I want to personally thank each of you for your continued support - I am honoured, humbled, and blessed to have your support. Initially, I decided to continue to offer my services safely for as long as possible. However, I feel the time has come where I can no longer maintain that level of safe...ty - not for my clients, not for myself, and not for my business. So it is with a heavy heart that I am temporarily suspending all services. The wide and varying contributing factors that have nudged me to make this decision, like limits on purchasing food, using a shared rental facility, the growing out-of-stock items on our shelves, have made Black Shallot's mission to provide you with the absolute best an impossibility at this time. Stay safe, and stay healthy. I will continue to offer updates as things progress. In the meantime, enjoy the pace that has slowed, the time that is now abundant, and the hope that things will be fine once again. Thank you for supporting my dream, my heart.
