We're getting more attuned to the ~nEw NoRmaL~ every day, and want to serve you by every avenue available. If you're following up on an order you ...placed with us, or have an urgent question (life, death, or book recommendations), you can always reach us by phone during regular hours too. Also: we've had a lot of requests for a new round of Surprise Boxes, and we're excited to say they'll be back before the holiday season. Sunday Surprise Sale! Come out and support our friends over at Cinqhole, who are holding a Farewell Fundraiser to recover costs associated with running & renovating Ottawa’s most compelling DIY venue. They poured their hearts (and wallets) into it for two years! We have about 3,000 books from the shelves at the venue that need new homes, and all proceeds will go to the Fundraiser. The books will be sorted into broad categories, ready for pickup on tables outside. Although a ...total *surprise*, at 15-25 avg. books per box, this is a major deal for $10. 5b Fairmont Ave, in Hintonburg, from 11AM-3PM. DJ Sweven Yong and MC Joey Liquid Legs will be at the controls. The garage door will be open, and things will be safely distanced. Wear a mask! See you there!
