At the Eastern Economic Forum JSC Russian Helicopters and VEB.RF signed an agreement for cooperation on civil helicopters Ka-62. The agreement implies a parti...cipation of VEB.RF in projects aimed at the production development and promotion of Ka-62 and its versions. Primorsky Kray the home region of the helicopter can be among the first operators of this helicopter. Here, AAC Progress is preparing for serial production of Ka-62. A document on interaction was signed with Primorsky Kray during the EEF. It establishes cooperation in the renewal of the region's aircraft fleet, development of helicopter air transport, and enhancing helicopter servicing system. Additionally, the parties will work for the development and diversification of production, and introduction of new models of civil rotorcraft. At the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russian Helicopters Holding Company presented the latest civilian helicopter Mi-171A2 and the Ka-226T light utility helicopter planned to be supplied to India. Previously, Russian Helicopters and the company Global Vectra (India) signed a contract for delivery of one Mi-171A2 helicopter, stipulating one more rotorcraft as an option. The helicopter manufactured under this contract will be presented at the Eastern Economic Forum, painted in the livery of the Indian customer. Its delivery to India is scheduled for late 2019 early 2020. The Ka-226T helicopter presented at the Forum demonstrates the prospects of Russian-Indian industrial cooperation: as per the intergovernmental agreement of 2015, India is to receive 200 such helicopters, 140 of which will be assembled locally.

Russian Helicopters Holding Company launched flight tests of advanced Mi-26T2V helicopter. The maiden flight has taken place at the flight and test center of Ro...stvertol today. Soon, the helicopter will fly to the Moscow Region, where it will be presented at Army-2018 International Military and Technical Forum. The modernized version differs from the baseline model of Mi-26 by modern integrated NPK90-2V avionics suite, which makes flying the helicopter significantly easier.
