This Christmas will look a little different for everyone. We sadly won’t be able to gather together, but we will have our services available to watch online! The Christmas Eve service (5:00PM) will be live streamed. There will be no in-person attendance other than those who are participating in the service. Christmas is fast approaching, and maybe you are gearing up for a busy few weeks full of festivities and family time. While many people look forward to this time of year, it can be really daunting for others as they must now navigate through the festivities without a loved one by their side. Whether this is your first Christmas without your loved one, or you have been down this road before, you are cordially invited to the Blessings Grief Seminar. This is a night of learning.... Rick Ludwig of Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home will give some practical tips on how to remember your loved one through this season, as well as how to navigate through the joy of the Christmas season when it may be difficult for you to feel any joy at all. This is a night of hope. Pastor Bill will deliver a message through the lens of the gospel- our ultimate comfort. This is a night where we can see that we are not alone. The Kirkendall Neighbourhood Association Food Drive for Mission Services is today! Stop by Blessings church to drop off your donations. E transfers can also we sent to [email protected]. Tax receipts will be made for donations over $20.

FYI - regarding the Food Drive for Mission Services. We will be collecting donations inside the church via Locke street access.

Please consider supporting the Kirkendall food drive supporting Mission Services. The food drive takes place this Saturday from 11am - 4pm at Blessings Church. Volunteers will be on site to take your donations! The following items are needed:... CoVid-19 Worship Service Update: Press Release (June 18, 2020) Blessings Christian Church (hereafter, BCC) will return to scaled-down in-person worship services soon. On Friday, June 12, 2020 the Ontario government permitted places of worship to be filled to a maximum of 30 per cent of capacity. Caring deeply about the health of our members and others in our neighborhoods, not least those particularly vulnerable, BCC is committed to abiding by the strictest Covid-19 protocols... in concert with the recommendations of Public Health. In addition to requiring self-screening and physical distancing of all attendees, for example, in-person services will resume without congregational singing, children’s programs or child-care, until further notice. Given the size of the building, BCC is permitted, with physical distancing measures in place, an attendance not exceeding 125 persons. BCC intends to target a number below that limit by permitting only a small percentage of congregation members to attend and leaving ample room for guests. To ensure that in-person services are effectively run and fully compliant, BCC will run a non-public trial service this coming Sunday, June 21, 2020 with a small number. Should the trial run be successful, in-person worship services could begin as early as Sunday, June 28, 2020, with a live-stream option for those unable to attend.
