Murray is a lot like Rudolph. No, he doesn’t have a red nose, but he was bullied just like Rudolph used to be. Murray was a stray from Manitoba, he had to fend... for himself, but he was young and scared and all the other dogs would bully him, he could never get any scraps to eat, so he would go to the lake and eat the dead rotting fish parts discarded by the fishermen in order to survive. It was a miracle that he was rescued and transferred to our care a few months ago. He was severely emaciated and had developed kidney worms from his abhorrent diet. If you’d recall, he went through a very costly surgery to have the parasites removed. With the TLC that we have been showering him, Murray today is one healthy, bouncy and adorable reindeer who can totally guide Santa’s sleigh with his shining personality. Murray is at a temporary foster home learning all sorts of good manners from his foster sister Maggie. He has a lot of love to give, and so for Christmas, we wish for another miracle that Murray finds a loving home that he deserves. (Adopted December 23, 2018)
