It’s been humbling to see how many people have been coming into the shop lately instead of frequenting big box stores and using sites like Amazon. The number of people shopping local (in all industries, not just fly fishing or the outdoor space) is heart warming and has certainly influenced the way I do my own shopping as well. As a small independent local retailer know it’s greatly appreciated and noticed. Many of you are die hard loyal customers and we always appreciate you...r boats and support. The number of people choosing to shop local (whether it be instore, curbside pickups or online) instead of at big box stores and chains has been incredible. It’s one of the reasons why we wanted to let everyone know that were resurrecting our #Flies4Kids campaign to help show our appreciation. Fall pike fishing has been cold but worth the effort. Short fish, that certainly hadn’t been missing many meals. Great to see @jonny2rag have such an awesome day. This was one of 3 fish he landed in that class, and definitely far from the heaviest or longest. More than likely the last open water pike day for many of us, although the following day I was out in the blizzard and it fished very tough. That last day before this big cold front hit there were fish on the feed and we were fortunate to be in them. Great work Jean! Such a fun day on the water bud. Glad we finally got a chance to chase some ditch pickles together.
