We are boldly requesting your support. Can you message this out to your circles for us? (Courage for Freedom / ProjectMapleLeaf)? We need business and industries input NOW. Please circulate to your circles! It is a simple survey but absolutely necessary for change to happen... Can you post a link with your associates to poll with us? With Covid-19 isolation, we are seeing and hearing a substantially incre...ased number of concerns regarding child/youth luring, grooming and sexual exploitation both virtually on physically. We continue to work with our communities, our Province and Canada across sectors to bring educational awareness, community responses, and safety information. Each business, corporate, at all levels from CEO to Management, and individuals in business are needed to take our 5 minute survey. This helps to understand what each knows about human trafficking and sexual exploitation of minor aged victim/survivors (children) and gives us the ability to plan a better future of safety, care and change. We encourage you to share in your industry and circles so your concerns and questions are heard and addressed. Thanks so much. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KDJLH5J See more
Friends, join BPW KW as we #RallyWithRosie for local survivors of sexual violence. In the post #MeToo era, Sexual Assault Support Centre (SASC) of Waterloo Region has been flooded with calls for support...five years ago, 40 survivors on their wait list was a crisis; now they have 140. What's more, research* shows that an increase in sexual violence is one of the likely impacts of large-scale crises, such as natural disasters, wars, and pandemics. This means that SASC is likely to see an even greater increase in demand for services both during and in the short and long-term aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis. If you agree that survivors can't wait, please consider making a donation today. It's time to rally with BPW KW. DONATE TODAY: https://mandrillapp.com//cli/30080524/www.canadahelps.org
Join in on the discussion about Emotional Intelligence at home, the workplace and how it affects all of our relationships. A few shifts and it can change the way we behave, which in turn shifts the way others react to us. If you are curious, please register for tomorrow morning's WV Community Hour.
