Welcome to another episode of get to know your "therapist". I keep seeing people advertising on Facebook/Instagram who are underqualified to handle complex issues such as PTSD and addiction. Coaches are NOT therapists. Master Practitioner does NOT equal a Master's degree. Please do your homework. Interview your therapist. Ask for their credentials. You wouldn't go see a guy who only knows how to change oil to handle replacing an entire engine.

This is why is important to consult with professionals who know what happens in different treatment centres. It's such a frustrating process. It's important to help family members find the right treatment program for their specific needs.

I have referred many people to this treatment centre over the years. It's a great program that supports the entire family to heal from the impact of addiction. I can't imagine the City of Port Alberni would allow for a Marijuana grow op to be opened next door. But I think any signatures for this petition could only help Kackaamin's cause. Please help!
