For today's craft, we tried out painting with leaves! This activity is super simple and requires very few supplies. All you need are some leaves, colourful markers and paper! Together with your child, take a walk outside and let them gather up a few leaves that they would like to use for painting. Then encourage them to colour on the back of a leaf with as many colours as they would like. It can be tricky to get toddlers interested in their meals, but a great way to get them invested in what they are eating is by getting them involved in the preparation of their meals and snacks. Here is a great healthy recipe for Little Energy Bites that you can make with your toddler and it also doubles as a great sensory activity! Visit our website for more details: https://hubs.ly/H0nSF580 Ingredients: 2 cups rolled oats cup raisins... 1/3 cup cranberries 1 tsp. orange marmalade or orange peel cup applesauce Take a large bowl and have your toddler put all of the ingredients in, one by one. Let your toddler mix all of the ingredients together by getting their hands in the bowl and squishing everything until combined. If you find your mixture is dry, we recommend adding more applesauce. Help your toddler roll the mixture into small balls and place onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 F, or until balls are golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool, then enjoy!
