We’ve been using a new homemade cleaning paste and just look at these results!

After seeing this trend on TikTok of ‘stripping’ towels with a cleaning solution and hot water in your bathtub, I had to try it with all my *clean* washing cloths! You have to know I wash them after EACH use in my washing machine on SANITIZE with liquid detergent AND borax. That’s a 2 (!!) hour cleaning cycle and so I felt confident that they were coming out clean. BUT LOOK AT THIS YOU GUYS!!!! This picture is the water after letting them soak in the bathtub for several hours... with a 3 part cleaning solution (see below), stirring periodically I am definitely going to start doing this regularly. DISGUSTING Here’s the amount of cleaning solution for a bathtub: cup Borax cup Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda 1 scoop of Tide Powder Laundry Detergent Completely submerge your towels in the HOT water mixture and soak until the water has cooled, which usually takes four to five hours. Then wring them all out and put through the washing cycle without ANY soap and dry as usual. I suggest only doing this on items like towels or sheets that are not going to be damaged by the high temperature of the water.
