The Brockville & District Civitan Club have been hosting this dinner for the Developmentally Challenged for over 35 years. At one time when the club was much larger, club members used to cook, serve and do the dishes. Civitan Court Lepage has played Santa every year. The Brockville Civitan Club raises funds throughout the year for this event... raised funds also help pay for a small gift for each client from Santa. #BrockvilleCivitan RIP Civitan Billy It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Civitan Billy McCann member of the the Brockville & District Civitan Club. Civitan Billy passed on Sunday evening, June 23, at his new home in the Royal Brock. A formal procession will travel along King Street from City Hall (Victoria Ave.) to Perth St. on route to Oakland Cemetery on Friday, June 28th commencing at 1:30 pm. Those who wish to pay their resp...ects to Billy are invited to gather along King Street between Victoria Ave. (City Hall) and Perth St. A graveside committal and interment will be held at the Oakland Cemetery (Section 17) on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 2 pm. A comprehensive obituary and date of Billy’s Memorial Service to be announced later. Arrangements entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville. Donations to BACLA - Brockville and Area Community Living Association would be appreciated.
