The BASC has made the decision as a board, that the remainder of the season is officially cancelled. With the costs and restrictions involved we cannot offer programming to all members at this time. The safety of all of our members is of greatest importance. We thank you for your support and patience as we all navigate our way through this pandemic. It's once again an unfortunate way to end our season but the safety of all our members comes first.... I remain optimistic that next season will be a much better one and that we can return to more of a normal year. Looking forward to the 2021/2022 season Stay tuned for important information regarding our end of year AGM.

Good afternoon everyone. I'm sure everyone is eager to hear if we are able to return to the ice since the announcement we will return to the Orange zone on Tuesday. Unfortunately we don't have any information at this time. Once we have more info we will post here ASAP.

Since we weren't able to hold a banquet last year, we still wanted to give recognition to our award recipients. Congratulations skaters!

Good morning everyone, I have been in contact with the arena manager this morning regarding the arena closure due to the upcoming lock down and was informed the arena will be closing tomorrow (Wed 23rd) at 3pm. This means that our Wednesday Starskate and Canskate sessions are now cancelled and our Fall session is officially over. Any upcoming events are cancelled and the next skating session is now postponed until the after the lock down. Given the unpredictability of the loc...k down and its current set date to end at the end of January, we will be holding off on any registrations for the winter session at this time.We are hopeful to be back in February but as you know, things can change rapidly.On a side note when we do get the green light to proceed, we will be moving forward with online registrations to hopefully make the registration process easier and more covid friendly. Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of our skating families for sticking with us this past few months. Your patience and understanding as we all try to navigate through this pandemic has been very much appreciated. I am hopeful that we will be back on the ice in Feb and until then I hope you all stay safe and have a wonderful Christmas with your families and happy new year. Danielle Wood BASC President

The Brooke Alvinston Skating Club as well as the Alvinston Ice Angels are two of the many local charities that benefit form Jackpot City Sarnia. Proceeds received go directly to the cost of both our Club ice and Synchro ice, and helps to keep program costs affordable for our skating families.

From the Brooke- Alvinston municipality: Please be advised, the BAICCC is closed indefinitely due to COVID-19. The entire facility will be closed until April 5, 2020 where re-assessment will be done at that time.

Important Update, Please Read: Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, our annual BASC Carnival will be postponed until next season. With the postponement of Carnival and in order to adhere to the guidelines set out by our local public health authorities and our governing bodies, the BASC will not be able to continue with our regular programming. Many difficult decisions are being made during this challenging time, but we must continue to work together to ensu...re the health and safety of our entire membership.
