Considering the news that the Canada/ US border is closed indefinitely to non-essential travel, we are offering our guided fishing trips at Canadian par with our US pricing. This represents a saving of almost $250/ day!!!! We are in the middle of prime time with 2.5 weeks of amazing fishing to go on Lake Winnipeg, one of the North America’s best walleye fisheries!!!! We also have spectacular back country opportunities for trout, Tulibee, monster pike and crappie!!

For all interested and affected. As of right now the border remains open to US citizens. I have heard mixed reports of statements but have not had anyone refused entry for any reason despite fishing being considered non-essential travel (by some ). The fishing has been spectacular with a lot of big fish being caught and great numbers as well. We’re in one of the best times of the year and remain open and operational despite several cancellations. Hotels in the area are still taking reservations and we have discounted trips available to fill cancellations for those interested. Truthfully there’s no safer place to be than in the middle of a frozen lake catching monster walleye. Take advantage of the reduced pressure. There hasn’t been this much room on Lake Winnipeg in March for over a decade!!!!

I hear all sorts of people becoming guides these days... like finding fish and taking guys out is the hard part. Until you successfully re-seat the bead on a client’s 4 wheeler in -20 in the middle of lake winnipeg while your customers slay fish... take a seat..

The hammer has been down on huge walleye on Lake Winnipeg. Piles of big fish coming up the holes and good numbers of eaters in between. If you’re willing to move around a bit and spread out you’ll be rewarded.. with input comes output.
