Members of our non-napping cohort offered to beautify our neighbourhood after seeing what the melting snow left behind in our front yard. Thank you guys!
The increasingly warmer weather has us all dreaming of these summer experiences!
It was a busy week in our Jr Left Brain classroom. We got to do a pom pom activity which helped us refine our fine motor skills and saw us taking turns with our friends. Oh snack time! Ms Kate joined us and was super impressed with the healthy snacks the children were having. We got to chat about going to the dentist, our Daddys' and learnt our friends names at the table. This is such an important social time to develop childrens language.

We never waste a learning opportunity! The roof was cleared of snow which left some amazing icicles for us to look at!
Happy World Kindness Day
Please be aware that the road at the front entrance of the building has not yet been cleared by the City. For drop off on Thursday Nov 12th please use the side or back entrance for easier accessibility.
A big part of education for the future is learning about the past. It is important to teach our children about the sacrifices their great grandparents made, in a world that may be impossible for them to even imagine. Today we remember and honour these sacrifices, and show gratitude for an ever-changing world that our children will also be impacting some day. #lestweforget
Pretty sure this thought crosses a parent's mind at least 100 times a day.
Today is #GivingTuesday and it's the perfect way to kick off a season of giving back to our community! Although we won't be able to get out and about much this holiday season, there are still a lot of ways you and your children can get into the giving spirit. Check out a few ways you can get involved in spreading some cheer this #QuarantineChristmas!
We will remain closed for tomorrow (Nov 10th) as we continue to be impacted by the snowstorm. Stay safe everyone! Reminder- Nov 11th-we are closed for Rememberance Day.
Please be advised that Building Brains will be closed tomorrow-Nov 9th due to the snowstorm. Building Brains is committed to staff and families safety.
