We need your help! The amount of homes we are entering with expired smoke and CO alarms is alarming (pun intended). All alarms need replacing after 10 years. If you tell 2 friends, they'll tell 2 friends, and they'll tell 2 friends ..... you get the idea. #Protectwhatmattersmost burlington.ca/alarms

Today, as we should every day, we remember those who volunteered, sacrificed, served, fought, and died for our freedom. We thank you, and we salute you, as we salute those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We will never forget. #LestWeForget #CanadaRemembers

Smoke and CO alarms have a best before date. Alarms expire after 10 years, ensure yours are current. Only working smoke alarms will provide the early warning you need to escape a house fire. For more information visit burlington.ca/fire

'Tis the season. Overloading circuits with plugs and extension cords can create overheating and result in fire. Light strings are rated for indoor or outdoor use. In most cases, no more than 3 light strings can be safely connected together. Refer to the manufactures instructions. Don't be a Griswold. For more information visit burlington.ca/fire
