We are open! Regulated health professionals are considered essential services and are allowed to remain open during the lockdown. We will continue to enforce policies on disinfecting, distancing, and PPE as well as screening. We are working hard to make clients and staff as safe as possible for in centre visits and please remember that we are also offering virtual services. Stay safe!

Hello Butterfly Families, We are in the midst of a constantly changing situation and we believe that our actions will determine the outcome of the COVID-19 pandemic in our community. Like many other businesses across the country, we are closing our doors to further limit the spread of this virus and to protect the most vulnerable in our community. We know it is the right thing to do. The health of our clients, their families and our dedicated team of therapists is of top prio...rity and this is why we have decided to suspend all therapy services temporarily at Butterfly, starting Tuesday March 17, up to and including Monday March 30. Our Team will automatically cancel all appointments for clients scheduled over the next 2 weeks. Appointments booked after March 30 will stand for the time being and we will contact you with further updates. For those of you who do not have appointments booked after March 30 we will be in touch to re-schedule as this situation resolves. "I CAN DO STAIRS NOW!" - After about 2 years of age, toddlers have improved their lower leg strength and balance to be able to descend the stairs - though they will do so in a "step to" fashion, and with hand or railing support. - With this improved balance, they will also start trying to walk "tandem" (i.e. heel-to-toe) - like on a balance beam - as well as be more skilled runners.... - They have also gained more balance for coordination tasks such as catching a larger ball.
