Happy Friday everyone! Status Restoration new public policy UNTIL December 31, 2020 Whether you have a visitor, student, or worker status in Canada you have to maintain your status for the whole period of time that you stay in Canada. In order to prolong your stay, you may submit an extension application. During the quarantine this can be a challenging task, and as a result some applicants missed the deadline for the extension application. The solution in this case would be a...n application for the status restoration, which needs to be submitted to the IRCC within 90 days. As per IRCC new public policy created on July 14th, 2020, due to the pandemic certain applicants will be given an extension to apply for their status restoration (Please refer to the link below). This policy remains in effect only until December 31, 2020.
