Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you all! Here is a game suggestion for kids with lots of fun! Hurley is an old game that can be traced back to ancient Rome and has been played throughout Great Britain for hundreds of years. However, Hurley is popular in Ireland, and it is believed to be the ancient ancestor of modern soccer. Instructions: Players form two equal teams, each taking one half of a field. One team begins with a medium-sized soccer ball, with the object of moving ...the ball over the opposing team’s End, which is simply the rear boundary of that team’s half. The defending team may tag an approachable player, whereupon that player must stop and immediately pass the ball or give the ball up. The ball may be passed or run with, but it may not be kicked, and no rough play should be allowed. May the luck of the Irish be with you! #canadafirstacademy #torontosoccer #soccercamptoronto #ontariosoccer

Have a nice week! Our brain looks like our muscles in many metaphorical ways. Muscles get stronger as we exercise. Brain cells produce new connections and getting stronger in this way.... Well, what do you think? Like as our muscles weaken and shrink when we're not exercising, could our brain be also shrinking because of monotony? Studies on different living things have already revealed that social isolation or a monotonous external environment can cause shrinkage in the brain. Scientists who want to test this issue on humans have examined the people who will be stationed at Antarctica's German Neumayer III station. For 14 months, they would only observe glaciers and creatures such as penguins, performing a routine mandate with a very limited social environment. Comparisons conducted at the beginning and end of this process for more than a year revealed that some parts of the brain of those involved experienced downsizing due to less neuron production than normal. The most significant reduction took place in the hippocampus, which played an important role in the learning and memory processes. It's a study that sheds light on both our whole lives and the Covid-19 period. What do you think of that?

Kids and teens should be active for their well-being and stability. There is no data that justifies sports domes being shut down during the current lockdown. Adherence to the necessary restrictions of 10 players per field ensures that the possibility of transmission is extremely low. @bradfordgrams #opensportfacilities #stoprandomclosures #letkidsplay #protest #cfatoronto #canadafirstacademy
