The City of Whitehorse is inviting the community to share the holiday spirit and put up your festive lights between November 12 and December 1. Neighbourhoods that have colourfully decorated homes can be selected for one of the City’s self-guided lights tours. Brighten up Whitehorse with your festive cheer.

Do you know an exceptional volunteer who has made a difference in Whitehorse? If so, the City of Whitehorse is now accepting nominations for the Volunteer of the Year award. The award recognizes an outstanding individual who has made a significant contribution to an organization or to the community as a whole. The City has been celebrating and publicly acknowledging outstanding volunteers since 1987. The deadline to submit a nomination is Wed, March 31.
