The Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame is saddened to hear about the passing of 2002 inductee and long-time east coast stock car racer and promoter Jim Hallahan. We send our condolences to his wife Elizabeth, family and friends.
The Board of the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame (CMHF) wishes to announce that the induction ceremonies for the 2020 class of inductees, previously scheduled for Feb. 2021, has been postponed until Feb. 2022. The next induction ceremonies will now take place at the 2022 edition of The Official Canadian International AutoShow (CIAS). Le conseil d'administration de la CMHF annonce que les cérémonies d'intronisation de la classe 2020, précédemment prévues pour février 2021, ont été reportées à février 2022. Les prochaines cérémonies d'intronisation auront lieu lors de l'édition 2022 du CIAS.
The CMHF sends its condolences to the McLean family. Ernie, a New Brunswick stock car promoter, was inducted into the CMHF in 2000.

Diana Carter, a pioneer among Canadian female racing drivers, has died. The 2013 CMHF inductee from Ladysmith, British Columbia won her first ever race & was the top-finishing woman in three Shell 4000s. The CMHF sends its condolences to her family & friends.
